Eliminate the gym-commute-phobia! The CrossFit Shorebreak community will make the gym something you look forward to every day. We host monthly community events ranging from movie nights (we have our own projector screen and theater set-up), to chili cook-offs, to Halloween pumpkin carving. When we say community centered we mean it.

GOAL-ORIENTED PROGRAMMING

Our gym’s workouts are written by one of the highest qualified CrossFit coaches in Huntington Beach, our co-owner Rob, with the training year broken down into mesocycles focused on specific qualities of fitness. The workouts are beginner friendly and percentage based, so a 10 year veteran can get the same stimulus as a first week newbie in the same class. Everyone gets one-on-one coach interaction during every class.

NUTRITION COACHING

After getting to the gym becomes easy, you’ll still need to optimize your efforts by knowing what to eat. Upon sign-up each new member gets a free body composition scan and 30 minute nutrition coaching session to learn what macronutrients are, what your daily energy expenditure is, and what you should eat to achieve your goals.

FUNDAMENTALS

We offer a fundamentals package if you are entirely new to the gym setting and want to start step by step. This package includes 3 one-on-one training sessions to teach you the 9 foundational movements of CrossFit, and also includes a session with our on-site Physical Therapist, Dr. Jessica Crowder, who will show you the basics of body maintenance to avoid overuse and chronic injury.
